Santa Fe Holidays, Red Coral and Turquoise necklace
A 2 days heavy wet early snowstorm left me snowbound and this necklace was the byproduct of that time! This is Santa Fe Holidays, a 3 strand Red Coral and Turquoise necklace finished with Delica Glass spacers and a fancy silver plated slide and lock clasp. The shortest strand is 16 inches and the longest one is 19 inches plus the 1 1/2 inch drop.
Turquoise is December's birthstone and many say that the "Wisdom of the Ancient Ones" comes to those who wear it! According to thecrystaalmanac.com, "At its core, turquoise is known for its ability to cleanse negative energy and foster truthful communication by connecting to the throat chakra. It is believed to bring good fortune and protection, creating an environment of peace and serenity.
Physically, turquoise is said to have numerous healing capabilities. It can alleviate respiratory issues, strengthen the immune system, and soothe inflammatory conditions. Its vibrant energy also enhances self-awareness and promotes clear communication, making it an ideal stone for personal growth and well-being."
moonrisecrystals.com states, "Red Coral invites us to explore our true selves deeply and honestly, without false humility or blustering ego. It dares us to claim our most authentic spiritual and personal power – to stand out from the crowd and be who we truly are. Red Coral teaches us that when we are strong and independent we are also in the best position to serve others, and create healthy interdependence, much like how a Coral Reef creates a vibrant ecosystem. It helps us to visualize our goals and understand both the practical and spiritual steps that are necessary in order to reach them. Red Coral reminds us that every action, no matter how mundane, has a spiritual aspect to it. As such, we can gradually learn how each movement is a form of prayer and every moment an act of devotion, and thus an opportunity to put forth our best self and to live fully alive."
This classically southwestern color combination is both beautiful, reminiscent of the Southwest and potentially very beneficial!
A great gift for you or for your favorite person!
